If you frequently engage in Alchemy and potion-making in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, you’ll often be searching through plants for specific herbs and flowers. With time, you’ll easily identify many herbs, but pinpointing the location of a particular one can be tricky.
One such herb is Mint, which is essential for creating the Cockeral potion. This potion is useful for boosting energy and alleviating fatigue. Unfortunately, Mint isn’t typically found in the wild, making it harder to locate than many other herbs.
### Where to Find Mint in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2
Mint is a tall, vibrant green herb that stands out for its lush foliage. Contrary to depictions in herb guides, it doesn’t produce any significant flowers at the top. It can easily blend in with taller grasses and might be confused with similar plants like Nettle. Typically, Mint isn’t harvested from wild areas; instead, it’s more often cultivated nearby.
To acquire Mint, your best bet is to visit Apothecaries and Herbalists, who usually sell it. Expect to find dried Mint unless they grow it themselves. While using dried herbs for potion-making works, they might not yield as potent results as fresh ones.
For fresh Mint, look in herb gardens, commonly situated near Apothecaries or in the yards of village homes. Even if you don’t find dedicated gardens, you may spot Mint growing in the vicinity of buildings or in small cultivated areas.
Given the number of villages scattered throughout the game, make sure to explore those with Apothecaries, alchemical workbenches, or drying sheds, as these locations are likely to have Mint cultivated nearby.
Although it’s less common, Mint can sometimes be discovered in the wild. It’s worth being on the lookout for it, as you might come across some unexpectedly. If you find fresh Mint and don’t need it right away, consider noting its location for future use.
