In High On Life 2, there are just a few main quests, but exploring the maps reveals some hidden activities and side missions as well. One popular hidden quest is called “Playdate With Jeppy,” which unlocks the related trophy or achievement named “A Nice Day With Jeppy.”
After progressing enough to meet your half-brother Jeppy and the rest of your family, you’ll get the chance to spend some relaxed, quality time with Jeppy away from the chaos of combat.
How to start the Playdate With Jeppy hidden quest
When you’ve completed missions for Senator Muppy Doo and Larry Pinkstock, and finished the Dinner With Mom side quest, you’ll unlock the Circuit Arcadia Zoo map for free roam.
Once there, you can go to the gift shop fast travel point from your RV map. Approaching the front of the shop triggers a prompt to release Jeppy. When you do, a checklist appears with three main goals:
- Visit the Petting Zoo
- Play Hide and Seek
- Capture a Photo
As soon as Jeppy is released, he runs off, and you must chase him as he dashes around the zoo. Use Gus’s suction ability to pull Jeppy out of the animal pens and guide him from spot to spot, making sure to keep him out of trouble. Gus’s effect helps keep Jeppy safe, so keep him close.
Jeppy will keep moving to different locations, so continue pulling him away each time you’re prompted. Eventually, you’ll reach the gift shop again. Next, after the countdown, head back to the gift shop, where Jeppy can be found hiding behind a rack in the back right corner. For the photo opportunity, approach the front of the gift shop, and a prompt will ask you to release Jeppy again. A checklist will appear with the three goals on this day:

Once Jeppy stops running, dispense some feed for him to attract the animal pen’s creatures. He runs inside, and you must use Gus’s suction ability to pull him out of the pen and guide him to the next spot. Repeat this, and Jeppy will hide in different places around the zoo, such as behind the rack in the gift shop or atop the Spaceforest Cafe sign.
Eventually, Jeppy climbs atop the Cafe sign. Use Gus to coax him down, completing all hiding spots. When he’s down, follow him one last time to a nearby photo spot where a photographer is waiting. Choose a Gatlian gun to stand in the picture with Jeppy, then talk to the photographer one final time before rushing off with your brother.
After the scene, Jeppy will express excitement, and you’ll earn the “A Nice Day With Jeppy” achievement for being a good sibling, celebrating your successful playdate.
