St. Trina is a non-playable character (NPC) in *Elden Ring*, introduced with the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC. She exists as an alternate version of Miquella, and her primary mission is to thwart Miquella’s ascension to godhood.
In this guide, we’ll walk you through locating St. Trina and the steps to complete her quest. Since her storyline overlaps with another character’s, we recommend tackling both quests together for a more streamlined experience.
Optional: Progress Thiollier’s Quest

Thiollier’s quest is intimately tied to St. Trina’s, so it’s advisable to start with his storyline. Find Thiollier near the Pillar Path Cross site of grace, situated to the south of Castle Ensis and east of Ellac Great Bridge.

After discussing with him, travel to Moore near the Belurat Tower Cross site of grace. Create Thiollier’s Concoction by collecting the Black Syrup from Moore and returning it to Thiollier.
Completing these steps is crucial for progressing Thiollier’s quest in *Elden Ring*.
Shatter Miquella’s Charm
Before encountering St. Trina, you must first shatter Miquella’s Charm. To accomplish this, head to the Shadow Keep dungeon located in Sacdu Altus.
You can reach Shadow Keep by finishing your journey at Castle Ensis in the northeastern area of Gravesite Plains. As you approach the entrance to Shadow Keep, a loud cracking sound will reverberate, accompanied by a message that appears on your screen, announcing:
A great rune has been broken somewhere.
This signals the start of St. Trina’s quest in *Elden Ring*.
Make Your Way to the Cerulean Coast
The next step is to reach the Cerulean Coast. From the Castle Front Gate site of grace outside Castle Ensis, head south and traverse through the toxic ravine, avoiding the large demi-human enemies along the way.
Once you emerge from the poisonous swamp, take a left turn and head north. Keep moving downward while dodging foes until you arrive at a small pond guarded by a Giant Miranda Sprout near a cave entrance.
Enter the cave and stick to the left path to circumvent the obstacles, leading you to the Ellac River Cave site of grace.
From the grace site, turn left and use the rocky ledge to descend while riding Torrent. After reaching the second waterfall, veer right and follow the trail inhabited by Stone Bird enemies. Evade the enemies and continue down until you find the Ellac River Downstream site of grace.
Stick to the right path and proceed forward until you spot a Furnace Golem in the distance. Avoid its attacks and enter the large opening on your right to finally arrive at the Cerulean Coast.
Transition from Cerulean Coast to Stone Coffin Fissure
From the site of grace at Cerulean Coast, head south to locate the Map Fragment for this area. Be cautious of the napping Ghostflame Dragon on your way.

After obtaining the Map Fragment, continue south while avoiding troll enemies to find a large tomb.
Leap across the tomb to reach the opposite side of the cerulean coast. Follow the path until you come upon a massive crater. Use the right edge to descend, aided by Torrent.
This will lead you to a site of grace called Fissure. From there, drop into a cave to access the Stone Coffin Fissure.
Encounter St. Trina in the Garden of Deep Purple
Following the entrance to the Stone Coffin Fissure, make your way down until you reach the Fissure Depths site of grace. This journey will be lengthy and filled with formidable enemies.
Once you arrive at the Fissure Depths, move forward and leap from the stone head with two horns—this can only be done if you have successfully shattered Miquella’s Charm.
This will take you to the Garden of Deep Purple, where you will confront the Putrescent Knight. Defeat this knight to unlock the final grace before reaching St. Trina.

Speak to St. Trina, and you will have the option to imbibe Nectar. This action will result in your immediate demise. Repeat this process four times, and St. Trina will share insights about Miquella.

Next, talk to Thiollier and try to relay St. Trina’s message. He will react angrily and refuse to listen. Imbibe Nectar two more times, then approach him once more.

Rest at a nearby site of grace, then face Thiollier as he invades you. Defeating him will reward you with St. Trina’s Smile. Speak to him again afterward, and this time he will heed your words, enabling him to be summoned as an ally against Needle Knight Leda.
Return to St. Trina After the Final Boss Battle
Head to Enir-Ilim and confront the Promised Consort Radahn. Then, return to the Garden of Deep Purple to find St. Trina’s body lying on the ground. Interact with her to receive St. Trina’s Blossom, a headpiece in *Elden Ring*.
This will conclude St. Trina’s quest in *Elden Ring*.
