How to Find the Bakery Bedroom Key
To get your hands on the Bakery Bedroom Key, head to the Garage in Wyndham Village. You can find a garage icon on the southwest section of the map. Getting there is simple—just follow the road.
Inside this garage, make your way to the open area on the right. The key will be on the workbench. Pick it up and continue your adventure!
Bakery Location
Now that you have the key, it’s time to go to the bakery. The Bakery is located at the center of Wyndham Village, right on the main street near the village green. Once inside, you’ll meet Iris Baxter, who may seem a bit wary of you initially.
Should You Open the Bedroom Door?
Here’s where things become interesting. The key unlocks the bedroom door upstairs, but you shouldn’t rush to use it just yet. First, engage Iris in conversation.
She will inquire if you’re affiliated with the soldiers. Reassure her that you aren’t. Then, ask if her concerns relate to her husband’s illness. After she confirms this, you’ll need to find out more.
Show your sympathy, and she will explain that her husband needs a specific tonic to recover. If you express curiosity about this tonic, she’ll let you know that you can fetch it for her if you’d like. You can choose to accept this quest and start tracking it down, which involves heading to the Castlefell Woods to speak with Mother Jago.
If you decide to simply open the Bakery bedroom door with your key, you will find Iris’s husband, who has become infected and will attack you. You’ll have to either flee or defend yourself. While it’s possible to loot the room, it’s generally wiser to follow the quest you’re given.
Note: If you open the door without obtaining the tonic first, you will fail the lead you just got from Iris.

She will inform you that she doesn’t possess the tonic recipe and that you need to retrieve it from the castle located on the opposite side of the region.
Getting the Tonic Recipe
Retrieving the tonic recipe is linked to another quest, as Jago will ask you to bring her Herbalism Book from the same castle location. When you arrive at the castle, the tonic recipe can be found on a table in the rear right room.
It’s advisable to handle both tasks simultaneously since the section can be challenging with numerous enemies.
Once you’ve obtained the tonic recipe, you can craft the tonic and return to Iris at the Bakery. She will then give the medicine to her husband, allowing you to enter the bedroom without any aggression. Completing the quest in this manner ensures you maintain a good relationship with the bakery couple, which could be beneficial later in the game.
