When you arrive in Coal Town in Shin-Chan: Shiro And The Coal Town, you’ll discover an exciting new environment filled with opportunities. You’ll encounter various characters, embark on new missions, and collect a range of materials, including several minerals.

These minerals are essential for completing your Invention Challenges, and they can also be used in side missions or exchanged for items you might find more useful, like scrap parts. Additionally, some minerals serve as materials for trolley parts. There are twelve minerals in total, and every one of them is necessary to finish the game.

Where to Find All Minerals

You’ll primarily find 12 different minerals in Coal Town once you access the area. Like wild vegetables, these minerals often appear as sparkling spots while you explore. If you’re lucky, Shiro may spot some of them when you enter a new area, but it’s generally more effective to search for them on your own until you unlock the Sundries Shop and Coal Town’s Bulletin Board.

  • The Sundries Shop opens during the main mission titled Another Great Invention.
  • The Bulletin Board becomes available after completing the mission The Strange Masked Man.

Additionally, finishing specific main missions will also unlock new minerals for purchase from the Sundries Shop:

  • Completing the Public Bath Is Ready mission unlocks Olivine, Agate, Quartz, Tourmaline, and Jade for sale.

You can only purchase three of each mineral each day at the Sundries Shop, but rest assured that the stock will refresh the following day. Additionally, winning big in the Trolley Race Courses can net you a good number of minerals, especially the rarer and more valuable ones like Tourmaline and Jade.

After you’ve advanced further in the game and completed the main mission Thank You Boiling Much, you can also find some minerals in Unbent Village, although only four types: Placer Gold, Raw Copper, Agate, and Quartz.

Below is a list of the minerals, where to find them, and their purchase prices:
