How Do Tiers Work?

There are 12 weapon types in total when playing the game. Since characters can equip multiple weapons, there’s a wide variety to collect and upgrade. As new characters join your team, you’ll want to strengthen their attack capabilities with better weapons.
Most of the weapon sets are named and contain a range of gear types, allowing the same set to be used across different characters. Several weapons within these sets are among the strongest in their category, but they are also among the rarer pulls. The main weapon sets are:
- Black Flame Wings Weapons
- Jet-Black Weapons
- Crimson Flame Weapons
- Blazing Weapons
Because these sets feature powerful and rare weapons, we group them together on our list, noting that the weapons within each set usually have similar stats and damage potential.
Apart from these named sets, you’ll also find rarer weapons categorized by type, such as Artisan’s, Guardian’s, or Pursuer’s weapons. Each weapon type often has at least one uniquely named weapon that stands out, but a name doesn’t always mean it’s the best choice. Our tier list considers weapon strength from both banners and crafting benches.

| Weapon and Type | Why It’s Good Enough |
|---|---|
| (Example entries) | Not every weapon makes the top-tier list. If a weapon isn’t listed here, it isn’t among the strongest, and you’re better off replacing it with one that is. |
