The Sims 4 Enchanted by Nature Expansion Pack introduces a variety of new plant-loving NPCs, including Mother Nature herself. She plays a significant role in the expansion’s storyline, having influenced the development of the in-game world and its rich history. However, discovering how to interact with this mystical character can be a bit tricky if players aren’t aware of where to search.
A major highlight of the Enchanted by Nature pack is its lore, which features compelling stories about fairies, the Gnome Wars, the legendary Spruce Almighty, and his ex-wife, Mother Nature. Players can delve deep into this world by unlocking entries in a notebook—recently updated for the base game—or by chatting with locals to uncover its fascinating stories. Mother Nature is frequently mentioned in these narratives, although her exact location remains somewhat elusive.
How to Find Mother Nature in The Sims 4
A Special Seedling Summons the New NPC
Players can first make contact with Mother Nature by planting a fairy seedling, which can be obtained through various means. However, to access these options, Sims must first learn about fairy seedlings. They can either select the “Research How To Become A Fairy” option at the Mossveil Fairy Hub located in Everdew or directly ask fairies about it.
After gaining this knowledge, fairy seedlings can be foraged, earned as rewards for completing tales, requested from a fairy, or simply ordered online through a computer. The easiest method is to purchase it, as it will be immediately added to the Sim’s inventory.
It’s important to note that Sims won’t instantly become fairies just by receiving Mother Nature’s blessing—they must step into Moondrop Springs before the charm fades. If players wish to meet Mother Nature without transforming their Sim, they can skip this second step.
Once they have the seedling planted, Mother Nature will make a brief appearance before vanishing after casting a charm. Following this interaction, her profile will show up in the Sim’s relationship panel, paving the way for a potential romance with this enchanting NPC.
How to Romance Mother Nature in The Sims 4
This Iconic Plant Mom Is Hard to Win Over
Now that Mother Nature’s profile is accessible, Sims can invite her to their lot, which is the best way to build a connection. Romancing Mother Nature can be reminiscent of wooing the Grim Reaper in The Sims 4: she can disappear at any moment, similar to the keeper of the underworld, so players must be persistent to make headway. Just like with Grim, she may not be immediately welcoming to every Sim; success hinges on having traits she appreciates and avoiding traits she dislikes:

Though it may cause Spruce’s feelings to be hurt, Sims can eventually become romantic partners with Mother Nature, although they can’t marry her or have her move in. Still, she’s a delightful NPC to romance. For players looking to add some drama, they can also attempt to woo her ex, Spruce Almighty, by summoning him via the Sprucederry Grove Glaswood Tree.
