The reviving system in Battlefield 6 keeps the fight moving, helps your team earn points, and prevents enemies from getting kills in key modes. There are a few ways to bring teammates back to their feet, and I’ll walk you through how to do it below.
While Support is the best class for reviving, everyone can do it when needed. You should revive teammates if it’s safe, and sometimes even if it isn’t. If you’re still unsure how to test this mechanic, check out our guide on how to access the Battlefield 6 beta first.
Different ways to revive in Battlefield 6
When a player drops to zero health, they’re downed and need quick help before they bleed out completely.
Here are the two main methods to revive teammates:
- Drag and Revive:
Approach a downed teammate and hold down the F key to start reviving them. You can also drag them behind cover to stay safe from enemies during the revive. All classes can perform this action, but Support does it faster. Their special ability also boosts the speed of reviving and drags, making the process quicker for Support players. - The Defibrillator:
This is a special gadget only available to Support players, and it must be equipped in your loadout. When you have it, you can move around and charge it up (it takes about a second). Then, quickly use it on a downed teammate for an instant revival. The defibrillator has unlimited uses and is essential for a support loadout focused on healing.
Reviving your teammates should become second nature, but it’s important to stay cautious. Downed players can still be killed instantly if they’re shot in the head with a sniper, especially if you have sniper training active. While they can’t be damaged while on the ground, they might still be close to threats. Remember, they can call for help, wait to bleed out, or choose to instantly respawn.
Keep in mind, headshots with a sniper rifle can instantly kill players with no chance of revival, especially if Sniper Training is active. This makes snipers a powerful threat in the game, though I wouldn’t say it’s the strongest weapon overall.
Always play carefully, and make sure to revive teammates when it’s safe to do so.
