Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 offers some interesting character interactions that play a significant role in the storyline. These interactions are referred to as Side Activities, and they usually take place during the main quests.
One notable side story unfolds during The Lion’s Den quest, where a side activity called Like Old Times features an encounter between Hans and Henry. In this guide, we’ll explain how to easily activate and complete it.
Triggering the Like Old Times Quest
This task can be missed, so ensure you trigger and finish it during The Lion’s Den main quest. To activate this particular quest, speak to Hans Capon right after his meeting with Henry.
Once you start chatting with Hans, he’ll express his gratitude. Select “No need to thank me,” then “Duty Calls.” After that, pick “A just reward!” and end with “Let’s go!”
Next, follow the coordinates marked on your map. Ride alongside Hans, and when you reach the designated spot, talk to him. You’ll both notice some soldiers from Sigismund’s camp nearby.
You now have three choices. You can engage them in conversation, confront them in battle, or sneakily eliminate them. If you opt for “Let’s talk to them,” you’ll need to succeed in skill checks, which will allow you to skip the fight altogether if you win.
If you select “Let’s get at them!” option, you and Hans will charge at them. Defeat all five enemies to meet the objective. Alternatively, if you choose “I’ll do it on my own, nice and quiet,” you must eliminate all soldiers without alerting anyone.
It’s advisable to pick the second option since the fight won’t be too challenging.
Avoid the fourth option, as it will lead to failure of the quest. After dealing with the enemies, have a final chat with Hans Capon to complete this entertaining side activity.
