In Peak, taking a tumble is part of the game, but you don’t have to stay down for long. A miscalculated jump, an unexpected storm, or a risky shortcut can cause your teammates to fall. Being able to revive them is essential for making it to the top. With hazards around every corner and only four team members to count on, knowing how to bring your squad back to life is just as vital as mastering your jumps.
This guide will cover the best ways to revive your teammates so you can get back to what you love: climbing. Let’s get started!
How to Revive Your Friends
While there are several ways to revive teammates, the most effective and easiest method is using Altars. These structures can be found near Campfires scattered around the mountain and act as team-wide revival points.
Altars are special because they don’t just revive one player; they can bring back your whole team, no matter how many have fallen. This makes them a top choice when things get tricky.
If you spot a Campfire while climbing, take a moment to check your surroundings. An Altar is often nearby, ready for use. The best part? There’s no need for any special item or resource. Just interact with the Altar, and your teammate(s) will be back in action, as good as new.
What Are Other Methods?
There are two alternative methods:
-
Effigies can serve as a backup. These one-time use items can revive a single teammate, but they’re rare, so use them wisely. You can find them as loot in luggage.
-
In addition, Temples located at the end of each region also provide full-team revives, but getting there often means facing the toughest parts of the climb alone.
For these reasons, Altars should be your first choice whenever possible, as they are more common and don’t require any inventory management.
