Dissidia Duellum Final Fantasy features characters from across the entire Final Fantasy series. Some characters are making repeat appearances, while others are appearing in a Dissidia game for the first time. The game involves intense 3v3 battles where teams fight against evil versions of themselves to purify crystals and save the world. With numerous characters to select from and new gacha elements, it’s helpful to know which characters are the most effective. The following is a tier list ranking all characters based on their performance.

S Tier Characters

Lightning		While her mastery is challenging, she’s easy to pick up. Her speed and dash enable quick entry and escape in fights. She boasts great damage output, both for area-of-effect and single enemies, making her a versatile choice for taking down opponents.
Krile		Krile is a top-tier support character, capable of healing and boosting allies’ attack stats. Her continuous bravery ability helps expedite boss defeats and victories. Her combination of healing and bravery boosts makes her essential for success.
Rinoa		Rinoa excels at focusing solely on bosses with her Angel Wing ability, getting stronger with each hit and unleashing devastating meteors. She has offensive potential but depends on UR abilities. Her mobility allows her to teleport out of danger, making her a formidable foe.
Kain		Kain’s Dragoon’s Pride makes him lethal, jumping directly onto crystals and dealing severe area damage. His ATK boosts and mobility, combined with his Vigilant ability, make him a top-tier damage dealer when equipped with URs.
Cloud		One of the strongest melee characters, Cloud can stun enemies, set up team attacks, and deal high damage. His versatile toolkit makes him a valuable asset in any team composition.

A Tier Characters

Terra		Terra can deliver devastating ranged attacks, manipulate enemies, and pull opponents closer. Her skill cap is high, requiring strategic stacking of fire abilities, but her power is immense once mastered.
Gaia		Gaia is a tough opponent with debuffing capabilities that reduce enemy speed while boosting her own. Her mobility is somewhat limited, but her ability to stop enemies and follow up with team attacks makes her highly effective.
Zidane		Buffed recently, Zidane’s increased attack and stealing power keep him competitive. His ability to prevent enemies from gathering BP and his high damage output in sneak attacks make him a consistent pick.
Prompto		He relies on his stun and defense-boosting abilities. Prompto can deal significant damage and decrease enemy defense, especially when executing Burst Chains. His survivability has been improved with recent buffs.

B Tier Characters
