How to Solve the Torch Puzzle in Where Winds Meet
After clearing out the Tiger Fort Bandits, you’ll face a torch puzzle. To access the hidden chamber, you’ll need to light certain torches around the fort. There’s a helpful map with clues that circle the right torches you should light.
To solve it, start by lighting the torch right next to the chest with the clue. Then, light the torch along the wall, followed by the two corner torches opposite the chest. Make sure all the other torches are blown out.
How to Solve the Wall Puzzle in Where Winds Meet
Once you’ve lit the torches and gone into the underground chamber, you’ll see a statue with glowing Chinese characters on the walls. To solve this, you need to move specific blocks so each wall spells out the word from Clue Three nearby.
First, press the symbol in the corner that looks like a floating漂. Then, push the symbols for 百 and 移 on the opposite wall. Pushing these deactivates them, leaving only the correct symbols lit up on each side—“山 河 寸 土” on one wall and “誓 死 不 易” on the other.
Once the right symbols are glowing, the door opens, and you can move on. Luckily, no more tough puzzles are waiting ahead.
Completing this quest not only grants loads of treasure but also gives you the powerful Touch of Death skill. This stealth move lets you silently take down enemies from behind by pressing the highlighted button. You’ll get to try it out once you reach the surface.
