An acclaimed PS5 exclusive action RPG is currently available at 58% off in the latest PlayStation Store deal, just days after the studio behind it was unexpectedly shut down by Sony. The remake of Demon’s Souls — originally launched as a PS5 exclusive in 2020 by the now-defunct Bluepoint Games — is part of the PS Store’s Spring 2026 sale lineup.
Demon’s Souls PS5 is at its lowest price in the new PlayStation Store deal
Players can purchase Demon’s Souls for $29.39 through April 23. Although the game is listed in the PS Plus Extra catalog, opting to buy outside of a membership could be the best deal if you’re not a subscriber or plan to play it later. The regular price is $69.99.
First-party Sony titles typically don’t see substantial discounts, and since its release, the digital price of Demon’s Souls has only dropped to this low once before.
For newcomers, Demon’s Souls is a remake of the 2009 PlayStation 3 exclusive developed by FromSoftware.
The official description states: “In his pursuit of power, the 12th King of Boletaria, King Allant, channeled the ancient Soul Arts, awakening a demon from the beginning of time — The Old One. With the summoning of The Old One, a colorless fog spread across the land, unleashing horrifying creatures that hungered for human souls. Those who lost their souls descended into madness — left only with the urge to attack the remaining sane individuals.”
Demon’s Souls is enhanced for PS5 Pro.
