A beloved first-person shooter from the 1990s is making its way into modern gaming with a new PlayStation 5 version.
Nightdive Studios has revealed that SiN: Reloaded, the highly anticipated remaster of the classic 1998 FPS, will be released in 2026 for both PC and console. The updated version will boast enhanced visuals, updated control schemes, and an additional mission pack at launch. A new trailer showcasing some of the major updates has also been unveiled.

Originally released in 1998 and developed by Ritual Entertainment, SiN is set in a bleak future in 2037. It follows John Blade, a security force commander assigned to eliminate a new recreational drug plaguing the city of Freeport. Since its debut, the game has gained a dedicated cult following. Nightdive Studios acquired the rights in 2020 to bring the title back with a remastered experience.
Key features of the upcoming SiN: Reloaded include:
– The original SiN and the Wages of Sin mission pack, both optimized with the KEX Engine
– Stunning remastered graphics featuring HD textures and models, supporting up to 4K resolution at 144 FPS, with anti-aliasing and upgraded 2D screens and menu art
– Redesigned control schemes and an improved user interface compatible with gamepads and mouse & keyboard
– Enhanced maps scattered throughout the game
– The ability to toggle between the remastered visuals and the original SiN Gold version
– New achievements to unlock
– Higher-quality Zak Belika soundtrack tracks, mixed and engineered by Chris Mock
