After a long break, PS Plus Premium members finally have access to free full game trials that are definitely worth trying out. PS5 owners can now explore two new role-playing games—one inspired by classic fairy tales and the other a fresh installment in a well-known series.
The game trials on PS Plus Premium don’t quite match the depth of free demos available on the PS Store.
One of the new trials, Escape from Ever After, launched in January 2026 on PS5. This charming, colorful game features fairy tale and storybook characters fighting against capitalism. Premium subscribers can experience a one-hour trial of this upbeat adventure.
The game’s description reads: “When Flynt Buckler, a classic fairy tale hero, storms the castle of his evil dragon nemesis Tinder, he discovers the once-threatening fortress has been turned into corporate offices. The villainous dragon is missing, replaced by drone-like workers sipping coffee and filing reports. What’s happened here?”
The other new trial is for Pathologic 3, the third entry in the Russian RPG series that first debuted 21 years ago. Premium members get four hours of gameplay with this trial.
According to the PS Store, “Daniil Dankovsky, a young doctor from the capital, is in search of the secret to immortality. His journey takes him to a remote town ravaged by a mysterious plague that will wipe it out in 12 days. Now, it’s up to him to explore the town’s past, present, and future—uncover answers, and try to stop the deadly outbreak.”
