The Outer Worlds 2 Order Initiate Scavenger Hunt puzzle is a simple challenge that rewards you with some useful items. When you reach the observatory and are about to face Seer Wiley, you’ll notice this puzzle nearby. It asks three questions about astrology in Outer Worlds 2, each with a single-digit answer from one to five. These answers are entered into some dials to solve the puzzle.

If you want to find the answers quickly, you can go outside to the main courtyard and consult the orrery—a moving map of the planets and moons. But if you’re in a hurry or having trouble figuring it out, don’t worry. Below, you’ll find all the answers you need.

How to Solve the Outer Worlds 2 Scavenger Hunt Puzzle

To complete the puzzle, you need to turn three dials to the correct positions based on planetary details. Here are the answers:

  • First dial: Four
The answer is the number of moons orbiting Elysium. You can look at the orrery outside, which shows four moons around a gray planet representing Elysium.

  • Second dial: One
This is the number of moons between Dorado and Elysium. The orrery indicates one small green moon orbiting between Elysium and Dorado, which is a yellowish planet on the side.

  • Third dial: Four
The final answer is how many times Eden orbits Elysium before Praetor and Cloister complete one full rotation. The orrery shows Eden (a small green moon) orbiting Elysium four times, while Praetor and Cloister (the two spinning planets) complete one rotation.

After setting the dials with these numbers, input the code. When it’s correct, the wall next to the dials will open. If you enter the wrong combination, don’t worry—the dials will reset, and you can try again. Inside, you’ll find a safe filled with loot, including:

  • Tossball Card: Feargus Urquhart (+1% damage)
  • 1,360 bits

Once you grab these items, you can move forward into the main observatory and continue with the main story.
