EA Sports is revamping the way Evolutions function in EA Sports FC 25. A key feature being introduced is Training Camp Evolutions, which differ significantly from the traditional Evolutions.
These Training Camp Evolutions operate similarly to certain mobile game mechanics, continuing to progress even when you’re not actively playing or logged in. The aim is to entice you to check back frequently and enjoy small rewards along the way.
Training Camp Evolutions: An Overview
In contrast to standard Evolutions in EA Sports FC 25, with Training Camp Evolutions, you don’t need to actively play the game to complete them. They are structured like crafting features found in mobile games that function while your phone is tucked away.
You select a player to evolve, wait for a designated period, and then return to claim the upgrade. Unlike traditional Evolutions, the enhancements from Training Camp Evolutions are generally smaller, offering things like new roles, positions, and playstyles.
After assigning a player to an Evolution, you’ll need to wait anywhere from a few hours to several days before claiming your upgraded player.
How To Initiate and Complete Training Camp Evolutions
Unlike most Evolutions in EA Sports FC 25, you cannot initiate or finalize Evolutions directly from the console or PC version of the game.
Instead, you need to download and launch the EA Sports FC 25 Companion App. After logging in, look for the Evolutions tile on the main screen. Here, select the Training Camp tab at the top, then choose the Evolution you want to begin.
Simply pick the player you wish to evolve, confirm your choice, and wait for the time that specifies on the Evolution’s description.
As with other Evolutions in EA Sports FC 25, players become untradeable once they are committed to Training Camp Evolutions.
Once the waiting period is over, open the Companion App again, navigate to the Evolution, and claim your upgrade. If the time hasn’t elapsed yet, you’ll be informed how long remains until the player is available to you again.
