  • How to Complete Thermia Fractures

Orb Vallis, the territory of the Corpus, is an expansive region on Venus in Warframe. As you navigate through Orb Vallis, you might encounter fissures in the ground that emit an orange liquid. These are Thermia Fractures, which are part of a recurring event offering various rewards.

Completing a Thermia Fracture involves several steps, and since there isn’t an in-game guide, it can be a bit tricky at first. This event occurs roughly once a month at unpredictable times. Fortunately, we’re here to help. Below, you’ll find all the essential information about Thermia Fractures, including how to initiate and finish them, and the rewards you can earn.

How to Complete Thermia Fractures

Before tackling a Thermia Fracture, you’ll need to gather a Coolant Canister. This item drops from Coolant Raknoids, which are located near the Exploiter Orb in the Temple of Profit in the northwest part of Orb Vallis.

After acquiring the Coolant Canister, search for a Thermia Fracture, identifiable by the orange liquid pouring from the cracks. Insert the Coolant Canister here to start collecting the Thermia.

During this process, you’ll face waves of Corpus enemies attempting to stop you and obstruct the filling of the Canister for a duration of 3 minutes. Filling the Canister to 25 percent necessitates moving to another Fracture and repeating the procedure until it’s fully charged.

Upon fully filling a Canister, you’ll receive one Diluted Thermia, which is essential for combating the Exploiter Orb.

You can also load multiple Canisters into one Thermia Fracture, allowing you to fill it all at once. Note that additional Canisters must be added within the initial 30 seconds of the defense, so it’s wise to bring them to the Fracture beforehand.

Regardless of the method you choose, after completely filling a Canister, you’ll need to find another Coolant Canister from a Coolant Raknoid to continue addressing Thermia Fractures.

Throughout the Thermia Fracture event, various modifiers, known as ‘Burps,’ may occur. Below is a summary of each Burp and its specific effects.

Canister Level

Thermia Fractures Event Rewards

At certain point milestones, you will be rewarded with specific items. These points will carry over between Thermia Fracture events. Here are the rewards you can earn:

  • 25 Points: Amalgam Shotgun Barrage Mod and Amalgam Serration Mod
