Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 takes players on a grand adventure through an expansive world, brimming with hidden narratives and side activities that enhance the main storyline. While you can complete the game by focusing solely on the primary quest, the side missions truly enrich the gaming experience, as each one unveils new characters and unique tales.
As you explore, you will meet various characters who will guide you through their personal stories. These side quests can range from assisting someone in distress to uncovering intricate secrets scattered throughout the game. For instance, the "Skeleton in the Closet" quest continues the narrative involving Jan Posy from Zimburg and his brother.
How to Begin the Skeleton in the Closet Quest
To unlock the "Skeleton in the Closet" quest, you’ll first need to finish the Bellatores side quest, as it leads directly to this new storyline.
Once you’ve completed Bellatores, wait a few days for the Skeleton in the Closet quest to become accessible.
Head over to the Ruins of Zimburg, located just south of Bylany, where you previously encountered Jan Posy’s brother. You’ll find Jan Posy of Zimburg there. Start a conversation with him and ask, “How’s the search for the Cumans going?” This will prompt the beginning of the Skeleton in the Closet quest.
How to Complete the Skeleton in the Closet Quest
Once you agree to assist Jan Posy, you’ll be directed to the Cuman camp. Upon arrival, you’ll have the choice of whether to proceed alone or to charge in with the support of Jan Posy and his brother.
This decision is entirely up to you: you can choose to sneak in solo or fight alongside your companions.
After taking care of the Cumans, speak to Jan Posy again. He will mention a chest located within the camp that you need to find.
Fortunately, the chest is fairly easy to locate—it’s situated inside the red tent. Simply lockpick the chest to obtain the Zimburg Reliquary.
Once you have the reliquary in your possession, head back to Jan Posy and hand it over. After a brief conversation, the quest will conclude, and you will receive some extra Groschen as a reward.
