Genshin Impact Version 5.4 Overview
In version 5.4 of Genshin Impact, players return to Inazuma to reconnect with familiar characters like Raiden Shogun, Yae Miko, and Yoimiya. A new character, Yumemizuki Mizuki, is also introduced with a banner during the first half of this version.
Your main goal for visiting Inazuma is to take part in the Enchanted Tales of the Mikawa Festival event. If you’re interested in maximizing your rewards like Primogems and Mora, this guide will help you complete the event efficiently.
Enchanted Tales of the Mikawa Festival: Requirements
The Enchanted Tales of the Mikawa Festival kicked off on February 14, 2025, and will conclude on March 3, 2025. To participate, you must complete the prerequisite quest, Ritou Escape Plan, part of Chapter 2: Act 1 – The Immovable God and the Eternal Euthymia, launched alongside version 2.0 several years ago. Additionally, players need to reach Adventure Rank 30 to qualify for this event.
While the optional quests aren’t mandatory, not completing them might spoil some dialogues and character interactions if you head directly into the event.
Although not required, it’s suggested to finish Yoimiya’s story quest, Carassius Auratus Chapter: Act II, and Mizuki’s quest, Tapirus Somniator Chapter: Act I, before diving into the main event.
Enchanted Tales of the Mikawa Festival Guide
In this event, players reunite with Raiden Shogun and Yae Miko during the Mikawa Flower Festival. The event is broken down into three story quests, allowing participants to complete them at their convenience.
In addition to the story quests, three main activities await: Akitsu Harpastum: Dreams Doubled, A Little Fox’s Daydream, and Bunshin Phantasm. Each activity features puzzle-solving elements that reward participants with Primogems and other goodies.
Players can also earn a free 4-star Polearm, Tamayuratei no Ohanashi, by collecting stamps obtained throughout various challenges.
While each of the three events consists of five challenges, they are quite similar, featuring only minor variations. Thus, mastering the fundamental mechanics will streamline your experience.
Akitsu Harpastum: Dreams Doubled
In Akitsu Harpastum, players assist Thoma’s team, with the main objective being to deflect balls at a Youkai using normal attacks. Different types of balls include the standard brown ball, the red ball (which requires a charged attack), a lobbed green ball, and a purple ball requiring trajectory prediction.
As you successfuly deflect these balls, a yellow charging bar will fill. Once fully charged, you will enter "Mega Rally" mode, where all hits become Perfect Returns, significantly increasing damage to the Youkai.
Keep an eye on the vitality bar situated above the yellow bar—getting hit will reduce your HP. Additionally, watch for blocks that appear in the arena that can also cause damage.
A Little Fox’s Daydream
In this event led by Yumemizuki Mizuki and Sangonomiya Kokomi, you will navigate a small Kitsune through a dreamscape filled with challenges. You can switch between light and dark sides of the dreamscape, each altering the obstacles you face. Switching mid-air is essential for platform navigation.
Pay attention to gaps and obstacles that may only become visible depending on which side you’re on. Avoid hazards such as Gloom Mushrooms and Squirrel Workers while collecting pieces of fried Tofu to complete each challenge.
Bunshin Phantasm
Headed by Sayu and Yoimiya, this event involves guiding two puppets called Muji Muji Daruma over pressure plates to unlock pathways. As you progress, your goal is to open multiple locked bridges by stepping on the required pressure plates and then ending the round early. This allows the puppets to follow the path you’ve set, enabling you to unlock all routes.
