A massive and strange monster has emerged on the Fortnite map, wreaking havoc, and it’s time to take action. Your mission is to explore the eastern side of the map and find out what’s causing the turmoil. With Godzilla now part of the game, a fresh batch of quests has been introduced.
This Godzilla Quest series includes three parts; however, only the first part has been released so far. The remaining parts are expected to be available later this week. If you need any assistance with these quests, this guide will help you get through them.
We will keep this article updated as new parts of the Godzilla quests become available.
You can tackle these quests in any order; the sequence provided in this guide is flexible.
How to Complete Every Nyanja Quest
Unusual footprints have shown up on the map, and your job is to investigate the eastern area. Start by landing in Shattered Span. As you glide down, you’ll notice huge footprints on the ground.
Step into one of these giant footprints to complete the quest and earn 25,000 XP for your efforts.
Damage Opponents From One Story Above or Higher
The second quest in the Godzilla section requires you to inflict damage on opponents from one story high or more, which might be confusing since the game doesn’t clarify what this means.
A simple way to accomplish this is to land in Seaport City and climb onto a rooftop. Equip an assault rifle and look out for enemies. You just have to deal 120 damage to opponents while elevated to complete this task.
You can complete this in any building with a roof, but Seaport City is a solid choice due to its many structures and player traffic.
Completing this challenge will grant you another 25,000 XP.
Find Monarch’s Secrets
This task requires you to discover three Monarch secrets by investigating one of three locations:
- Kappa Kappa Factory
- Pumped Power
- Foxy Floodgate
We recommend visiting the Kappa Kappa Factory. Here, you’ll need to interact with three distinct items:
- The first item is a computer screen, found just to the left of the entrance in the green building to the northeast.
- The second is located on a white table on the first floor of the same building.
- The last item is a set of green barrels located in the southeast section of the area, near the shoreline.
These aren’t the only items for investigation, but when you’re nearby, an exclamation mark icon will signal which object to interact with.
Once you’ve interacted with all three items, you’ll complete the quest and receive 25,000 XP.
Travel Distance While Airborne
This quest is straightforward; you can complete it right when you drop from the battle bus and open your glider.
Simply travel a distance of 1,954 units while airborne, and you’ll easily earn another 25,000 XP.
This challenge will likely be completed naturally as you play the game.
Place Kaiju Detection Beacons
The final task in the Nyanja quest series involves placing Kaiju detection beacons at two different locations.
On the map, you’ll see four possible spots to place these beacons, one at each corner of the map. However, you only need to place two.
The four locations are:
- North of Whiffy Wharf
- Southwest of Shogun’s Solitude
- Northeast of Shattered Span
- Southeast island of Hopeful Heights
We suggest using the ones on the east side of the map (Northeast of Shattered Span and the Southeast island of Hopeful Heights), as they are fairly close and can be completed quickly.
After placing two beacons, you will receive another 25,000 XP and complete all current Nyanja quests.
