How to Play Style Showdown

To get started with Style Showdown, head to the main Dress to Impress page on Roblox. Beneath the main banner image, you’ll see an option to join the event. Click that to enter the lobby. Inside the lobby, step onto the platform and wait for nine other players to join. Once the lobby fills up, the game will kick off.

You can also join mid-game by clicking the ‘Style Showdown’ icon on the right side of the screen and selecting the mode from the menu.

How Does Style Showdown Work?

Style Showdown is a competition featuring ten players, where contestants are eliminated in each round until only one winner remains. The gameplay is similar to the regular Dress to Impress mode, where you dress your avatar according to a specific theme.

However, some important factors make Style Showdown unique:

The selection of clothing is limited compared to the regular mode, which makes crafting outfits more difficult.
Each round comes with added challenges, such as a mandatory default item that must be incorporated, speed rounds, or limits on the number of pieces you can use in your ensemble.
The time for each round is shorter, creating more urgency to get your outfit ready.

How Does Voting Work?

At the end of each round, players vote for their favorite outfits. As the game progresses and players are eliminated, the number of votes decreases. Receiving votes earns you Style Stars, and simply making it through a round also awards you stars.

Be sure to cast your vote each round; this is crucial for maintaining any Style Stars you’ve gathered. If you fail to collect enough stars, you’re at a higher risk of being eliminated.

To vote, click the star below the player whose outfit you want to back. You can also buy an Immunity Idol for 250 Robux by selecting the icon on the left, which protects you from elimination for that round.

If you find yourself among the bottom two, you may need to participate in a Pose Sync challenge. During this mini-game, pose icons will drop onto the screen, and you must click the matching button as they align to complete the sequence correctly.

In the final round, the last three players will need to type in the chat to make their case for winning. Unlike earlier rounds, do not change your outfit, as it will leave your avatar naked. The jury, which includes eliminated players, will then cast their votes for their favorite contestant to decide the winner. If there are no jury members left (meaning all eliminated players have left), the contestant with the highest number of Style Stars takes home the victory.

What Do You Win?

Winning a single game rewards you with a stunning black feather dress. If you win two games, you receive gloves, and winning three games awards you with an exclusive headdress.
