Resourceful Reaper
Using environmental effects to eliminate Nazis is not only effective but also incredibly satisfying. These effects include explosive barrels, suspended crane pallets, and vehicles that are scattered throughout missions, making them easy to identify, especially the bright red barrels.
If you find yourself alone near a trap, consider luring enemies close with a whistle or a bottle.
However, there’s a trade-off for using these methods: while explosives create a loud commotion that can alert nearby enemies, if you can use a quieter method to trigger them, the Nazis will be none the wiser about your location.
Trapper’s Delight
Setting booby traps can be straightforward if you closely observe enemy patrol routes and are willing to use various items. You can utilize grenades or Teller Mines for this purpose, but you’ll need a corpse to set the trap.
When you interact with a body, you have the option to booby trap it. If a nearby Nazi approaches, the trap will activate.
To maximize this tactic, it’s advised to set traps in tight spaces, like hallways or stairs, where enemies can’t easily move around your traps.
Jinx
For the Jinx ribbon, you must be clever and have a clear line of sight to successfully lure enemies toward explosives like TNT. There are two main tactics to consider:
- Lure an enemy close with a whistle and shoot the TNT once they are near.
- Memorize an enemy’s patrol path, place the TNT, and wait for them to come by.
The More The Merrier
Achieving this ribbon can be tricky since it requires two unsuspecting Nazis to be positioned closely. You can improve your odds by setting up the scenario beforehand:
- Knock one enemy down discreetly.
- Place a Teller Mine near them.
- Use a whistle or a distraction to draw a second Nazi into the trap.
This strategy will result in either the second Nazi stepping onto the mine or waking the first, leading to a satisfying explosion.
Tank Terminator
Availability for this ribbon varies as not all missions feature tanks. However, in missions where they do appear, expect to use specialized explosives to deal with them effectively.
High explosives, such as TNT and Pressure Mines, will be your best bet. While these alone might not finish the job, they can disable critical components on the tank, making it easier to destroy.
You can also use armor-piercing rounds on weak spots. Entering Focus Mode will highlight these vulnerable areas, making your attacks more efficient.
Armored Annihilator
Taking down armored vehicles is simpler than dealing with tanks; they typically require fewer explosives for destruction. Focus your attacks on weak points, such as the engine, for maximum damage.
Consider laying Pressure Mines along the vehicle’s path to initiate the encounter on a negative note, saving your ammunition for the main confrontation.
Tracker
This ribbon is among the easiest to earn. Find a good vantage point with a clear line of sight where you can observe the behavior of many enemies. Pull out your binoculars and tag enemies for quick ribbon progress.
Lifesaver
In cooperative play, you’ll have the chance to earn this ribbon by reviving downed teammates using a Med Kit. Anytime you help an ally in this way, you will receive the Lifesaver ribbon.
Tagger
Another cooperative ribbon, you will need to act as the spotter while your partner takes out enemies. Tag foes with your binoculars, allowing your ally to score the kills.
Bagger
This cooperative task requires you and a partner to shoot at the same enemy. You’ll need to weaken a target with your shot, then have your ally finish them off.
When initiating this strategy, make sure your shot is non-lethal—opt for less powerful weaponry and aim carefully, avoiding fatal shots.
Mechanic
For the Mechanic ribbon, you’ll primarily focus on utilizing Pressure Mines against smaller vehicles, as they do not require much firepower to eliminate. Enhance your effectiveness by positioning a fuseless TNT right next to a Pressure Mine; when the vehicle trips the mine, it will also activate the TNT for significant damage.
