In Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, not every conflict can be resolved with a fight. Sometimes, a more strategic approach can save you time and trouble. If you’re focusing on stealth, dealing with enemies openly can bring unwanted attention, making it more challenging to carry out your plans discreetly.
The best opportunity to rob someone is when they’re fast asleep. However, waiting for them to fall asleep on their own can take forever. This is where the Lullaby potion comes into play. You can use this potion to tamper with cooking pots, encouraging your foes to hit the hay much sooner.
How To Put Enemies To Sleep
There are various ways to send enemies off to dreamland. You can choose to knock them out or apply a Lullaby potion.
Knocking someone out makes them entirely unconscious, while the Lullaby potion simply makes them fall asleep earlier than they normally would.
When enemies are asleep, they become easier targets for robbing or eliminating. You can even perform a stealth knock-out to render them more vulnerable. However, keep in mind that even sleeping enemies can make noise, potentially alerting nearby allies.
This tactic is especially useful in crowded areas, such as bandit camps, where you may find multiple sleeping enemies.
How To Use A Lullaby Potion
To make an NPC fall asleep, you must utilize the Lullaby potion. When consumed, this potion will make the target drowsy and urge them to sleep sooner than they usually would.
To use the Lullaby potion, locate a cooking pot, cauldron, water source, or wine barrel—essentially, any item an NPC consumes.
When you find a suitable source, select the ‘Pour potion’ option and choose the Lullaby potion from your inventory to add it to the container.
Keep in mind that the Lullaby potion doesn’t act instantly, so you might have to wait or find a place to rest nearby.
After some minutes to hours (depending on the timing of your potion pouring), NPCs will drink the Lullaby potion and then fall asleep. Once they are out, you can choose to knock them out, rob, or eliminate them based on your playstyle.
