Getting Started with Safeguard Deliveries in GTA Online
In GTA Online, taking part in Safeguard deliveries lets you turn the tables on the security trucks you usually rob. Instead, you’ll be transporting high-value cargo to its rightful destination. But be prepared: this isn’t going to be a smooth ride. Unlike the timed QuickiePharm deliveries, you’ll need to fend off enemies trying to damage your precious cargo. Below, you’ll find a guide on how to complete Safeguard deliveries in GTA Online, as well as the rewards you can earn.
How to Launch Safeguard Deliveries
To kick off your Safeguard deliveries, head to either the Bobcat Security or Gruppe Sechs depots marked on your map. Bobcat Security is located in the southeast corner of Los Santos, near the Terminal, while you can find Gruppe Sechs in the central area at Pillbox Hill. Approach the marker at the entrance and press right on the d-pad to begin transporting valuable goods.
Once you’ve initiated a Safeguard delivery, you’ll spawn in a Security Stockade and receive a destination for your cargo. There’s no strict time limit, but keep an eye on the bottom right corner for the payment value, which decreases if your cargo takes damage. As you travel, you’ll be warned about incoming enemies. Since it’s tough to outrun them in a heavy truck, use your driving and shooting skills to fend off attackers or disable their vehicles so you can reach your destination safely.
Rewards for Safeguard Deliveries
Completing successful deliveries gives you cash and a chance for additional rewards. After your first delivery for Bobcat Security, you’ll unlock a trade price for the Brute Bobcat Security Stockade at Warstock Cache & Carry, cutting the price from $2,440,500 to $1,830,375—a big saving on one of the new cars from the Money Fronts update. Additionally, making five deliveries for each company unlocks unique outfits:
- Five deliveries for Bobcat Security: Bobcat Security Driver Outfit
- Five deliveries for Gruppe Sechs: Defender Outfit
As a bonus, if you complete three Safeguard deliveries before July 3, you’ll earn a GTA$200,000 bonus and unlock the Hands On Car Wash Overalls outfit for your character.
