Relationship and Romance System

Once you unlock the syndicate, you’ll discover a retro-style chat feature on the Pom-2 PC at your orbiter. By clicking on each character’s profile, you’ll find some introductory messages that you can respond to. Your choices will help advance your relationship with each character.

Your relationship with a member of The Hex is measured using Chemistry levels, categorized in different statuses displayed on their profiles. These levels include:

• Neutral
• Friendly
• Liked
• Trusted
• Close
• Best Friends / Loved

Keep in mind that some ranks are tied to your overall Syndicate levels. You won’t be able to reach Friendly until you acquire Rank 2, Liked until Rank 3, Trusted until Rank 4, or Close until Rank 5. Furthermore, you must attain the Liked status to unlock the true ending of The Hex’s main storyline.

Tip: Remember, pursuing these relationships doesn’t have to end in romance. You can simply choose to be friends with The Hex members instead.

After achieving the Trusted rank, you can initiate a romantic relationship with any character. Head to their specific location in the Mall, where you can ask them out, but be mindful that you can only date one character at a time. If you wish to pursue another, you must break up first.

Daily Ways to Boost Chemistry

You can enhance your Chemistry with a character once a day through several activities:

• Sending a Gift through DIRECTGIFTZ: After each chat, you can send a gift. Be sure to choose something the character will appreciate, which is hinted at in their profiles. If you select a gift they dislike, your Chemistry won’t increase.

• Chatting on KIM: Your dialogue choices can either help or hinder your Chemistry gain. If you’re successful, the next message from them will sparkle with a golden light.

• Completing Bounties: Engaging in Bounties can also provide Chemistry experience, with each mission increasing your bond with a character who joins you during the task.

Tip: Don’t fret too much about picking the perfect gifts or responses. As long as you’re making an effort, you can only gain Chemistry with the characters—you won’t lose any.

On each member’s birthday, you can engage in an extra conversation that boosts your Chemistry. Here’s when you can celebrate:
