Fusion Rules

To access Kefla, you have two options: either select her directly or fuse during a battle. To perform the fusion, you need to have both Kale and Caulifla on your team, and the character you’re controlling must be in base form.

Opting to select Kefla directly is usually the most effective choice. However, fusing has its advantages, such as gaining additional health during a match. Keep in mind that Kale cannot return to her base form from her berserker state, so you’ll need to switch to Caulifla if your match goes that route.

When it comes to abilities, Kefla stands strong alongside other fusion characters, boasting impressive speed, health, and power. However, her skills primarily offer buffs. To maximize her effectiveness, save the Skill Count for transformations.

At a cost of just six DP, you acquire a potent character capable of further evolution. Her Specials maintain a solid balance, but note that her Ultimate is an area explosion, which players familiar with her from FighterZ may not anticipate.

In her Super Saiyan form, Kefla retains skills primarily focused on buffs, but don’t overlook False Courage. For just one Skill Count, you gain special armor that prevents flinching from attacks, allowing you to stay aggressive and execute critical combos.

The Ultimate move, Hexa-Cannonball, begins as a series of projectiles, which means it can’t compete with other beams in clashes. Nevertheless, it inflicts substantial damage and boasts impressive tracking for its projectiles, making it one of the best in the game.

This is Kefla’s final form, providing her with a skill to immediately enter Sparking Mode. Since there’s no need to reserve Skill Count for other forms, this ability will be your primary tool, making your Ultimate a persistent threat throughout battles.

The Ultimate move, Gigantic Burst, is again an explosive wave, but even if the animation is familiar, it can be quite tricky for opponents to predict. Use this to your advantage; just because they’ve seen your Ultimate before doesn’t mean they know how to counter it next time.
