The game includes different types of katanas, each presenting its unique crafting challenges. Despite the complexity of making them, a katana can become your go-to weapon due to its effectiveness in combat. Once you know how to create and wield one, only a handful of opponents will pose a real threat to you.

How To Craft A Katana In Sengoku Dynasty

In the game, you will find three distinct types of katanas. Each type necessitates completing specific tasks to unlock its crafting recipe. While you can also collect katanas from defeated foes, bear in mind that these weapons are generally less robust than those you create yourself.

To craft a katana, you’ll first need to build a smithy, which becomes available once you have iron ore. Keep in mind that the bronze katana can also be crafted on a workshop table if you have unlocked its recipe. The other two types of katanas must be crafted at a smithy or forge.

After obtaining the required materials and unlocking the crafting recipe, proceed to the blacksmith anvil inside your smithy. By selecting the craft option, a menu will appear allowing you to choose the katana you wish to create.

Once you have your katana, be sure to assign it to a quick slot for easy access during battles. While a katana delivers substantial damage, its range is shorter compared to other weapons like the Yari or Naginata.
