Iris is a new type of Greenery introduced in Hades 2 with the Olympic Update. Like other flowers, it’s used for various incantations at the Cauldron in the Crossroads. Before you can start collecting it, you’ll need to navigate through the Surface and defeat both Polyphemus and Eris.

How To Obtain Iris
Iris is a Greenery that is exclusive to Mount Olympus. To reach this area, you’ll first have to make your way through the entire Surface. Once you’ve arrived at Mount Olympus, continue exploring the rooms until you spot a blueish-white flower. Keep in mind that finding Iris is entirely random, so you won’t know which rooms are likely to contain it.
In our experiences, we found at least one Iris—sometimes even two. We suggest performing the following incantations at the Crossroads before you embark on your run:
- Reagent Sensing: After completing a battle, a Silver Wisp will lead you to resources (not just Reagents) in the next room.
- Observance of Gaia’s Secrets: This gives you a 20 percent chance to collect an extra resource while farming.
