How to Fast Travel

To fast travel, simply open the map by pressing the M key on your keyboard or the up D-pad on your controller. Next, point to the icon of the town where you wish to travel. Once you confirm the fast travel prompt, your character, Henry, will be shown making his way from his current location to your selected destination.

Keep in mind that you can’t freely fast travel everywhere; specific icons for towns indicate where you can go.

While fast traveling is convenient, there are a couple of important factors to keep in mind. You need to watch your hunger and fatigue levels, as time will elapse as if you had traveled there naturally.

Important Considerations

Here’s a notable aspect: you might encounter an ambush while fast traveling. You’ll receive a prompt indicating that an innocent person is surrounded by armed foes. You can choose to intervene or flee, but escaping might not always be guaranteed, so ensure you’re well-prepared before using this feature.

Fast traveling will increase your hunger and fatigue, and even affect your health. Additionally, local authorities might stop you for a check to see if you are carrying any stolen items. If they find anything suspicious, you could be arrested.
