In Star Wars Battlefront 2, Credits serve as the primary currency for purchasing various cosmetic items for your characters and Heroes. Unlike Crystals and Crafting Parts, which aren’t useful anymore, Credits are the only significant currency you can still earn. So, if you’re a new player, you can focus on Credits without worrying about the others.
Gathering Credits is straightforward; you’ll earn them by completing milestones, challenges, and winning multiplayer matches. Just dive into the game, and you’ll start accumulating Credits. Once you have a few thousand, you’ll find numerous cosmetic items available for your characters and Heroes. Here’s how you can spend your Credits in Battlefront 2.
How to Use Credits in Battlefront 2
In Star Wars Battlefront 2, you can use Credits to purchase skins, emotes, voice lines, and victory poses for your classes and Heroes. To make a purchase, go to the Collection tab from the main menu, and select any of the classes or Heroes (please note that vehicle and starship Heroes cannot be customized). From there, you can explore and unlock available cosmetics for that character.
The cost of these cosmetics varies based on their type and rarity. Here’s a breakdown of prices:

When you unlock an Emote for a Hero, the corresponding Voice Line is unlocked for free as well. However, not every cosmetic can be acquired with Credits. Some items, especially for Heroes, are tied to specific milestones. For example, Darth Maul’s “Kenobi!” Voice Line can only be unlocked through the Exact Revenge milestone located in the Heroes section of your Career page.
If you have any leftover Crystals (you can buy them for real money in the in-game store, but it’s not recommended), you can use those instead of your Credits to unlock cosmetics.
