In Schedule 1, you can create many different products starting from the original strains. With so many possible combinations, it can be confusing to figure out which ingredients will produce what effects. Usually, it involves some trial and error.
However, it’s not just random—certain ingredients combined with specific effects will always lead to predictable results. The trick is to keep track of what you’ve used and build on it, paying attention to the effects your product already has. Once you recognize which ingredient produces a certain effect, it becomes easier and more natural to experiment.
Basic Effect Recipes in Schedule 1
Using Base Strains with Basic Ingredients
There are 16 ingredients in the game so far that can be combined with any base strain to produce specific effects. These effects are the standard ones you get without using more advanced ingredients. The traits you choose here will influence outcomes when mixing for more complex effects later.
Here is a table of effects and their corresponding ingredients:
| Effect | Ingredient |
|---|---|
| Athletic | Energy Drink |
| Balding | Mouthwash |
| Bright-Eyed | Battery |
| Calorie-Dense | Donut |
| Energizing | Cuke |
| Foggy | Mega Bean |
| Gingeritis | Banana |
| Jennerising | Iodine |
| Long-Faced | Horse Semen |
| Sedating | Flu Medicine |
| Slippery | Motor Oil |
| Sneaky | Paracetamol |
| Spicy | Chili |
| Thought-Provoking | Addy |
| Toxic | Gasoline |
| Tropic Thunder | Viagra |
Please note, these are just the base effects. Adding more ingredients can sometimes change or even override these effects. For example, adding Gasoline to a product that already has Paranoia will turn the trait into Calming instead (more on this below).
Combining Ingredients for Unique Effects
Many players enjoy mixing different ingredients to produce effects that appeal to various customers. Creating some effects may require combining multiple ingredients, and some recipes might involve replacing existing traits to develop new, more advanced effects.
For example, if you repeatedly mix a base strain with certain ingredients, you’ll discover new effects like Anti-Gravity or Seizure-Inducing. Often, you need to have the effect you’re replacing in your product to successfully achieve the new, more complex effect.
The game allows nearly endless mixing possibilities, so keep experimenting to see what combinations work best or to meet specific customer requests. As your reputation grows from making high-quality products, you’ll level up faster.
Visual Changes & Mechanics
When you give your character certain strains, their facial features will change to match the effects. Some movement mechanics also change; for instance, the “disorienting” effect will invert your controls and make your eyes look in different directions. These effects last for a couple of in-game hours, depending on the trait.
Advanced Effect Recipes for More Complex Products
Enhancing Your Base Creations
Once you’ve made a basic product, you can refine it further by processing it again or adding new ingredients. Some recipes will involve reusing ingredients already used for effects, while others require new ones. Repeated mixing can sometimes be repetitive, especially with complex recipes like Anti-Gravity, which will replace one of the previous effects.
To craft these advanced effects, you typically need the initial effect present in your product to replace it with a new, more complex one. Results can often be achieved after a couple of tries, giving multiple ways to develop new effects.
For example, mixing Mouthwash with certain ingredients can produce Anti-Gravity or Calming effects, replacing the original trait. The possibilities seem endless as you can keep creating new effects almost infinitely.
Here’s a sample table of some advanced effects and their ingredient combinations:
| New Effect | Ingredients | Effect Replaced |
|---|---|---|
| Anti-Gravity | Mouthwash | Calming |
| Anti-Gravity | Paracetamol | Munchies |
| Anti-Gravity | Motor Oil | Paranoia |
| Athletic | Paracetamol | Electrifying |
| Balding | Paracetamol | Energizing |
| Bright-Eyed | Paracetamol | Spicy |
| Disorienting | Gasoline | Electrifying |
| Glowing | Mega Bean | Calming |
| Jennerising | Banana | Paranoia |
| Slippery | Donut | Anti-Gravity |
These additional and complex recipes greatly increase your product’s value, offering countless ways to tailor products for customers or to meet specific effects.
