As you progress to the middle of the storyline and unlock the second area, Kuttenberg, the game world significantly expands, giving you double the space to explore and even more characters in need of assistance. One of the first side quests you can embark on in this new region is the White Roebuck quest.
How to Begin the White Roebuck Quest
After wrapping up the Speak of the Devil main quest, head over to Suchdol. Just north of the village, you’ll find Huntsman Dobresk Pecker inside the castle.
Talk to him, and he’ll mention there’s a problem with some nearby poachers. Agree to assist him, and you’ll trigger the White Roebuck quest.
How to Locate the Poachers’ Camp
Your initial task is to find the poachers’ camp, which is located just northwest of Suchdol. Head in that direction and deal with the poachers in whatever way you prefer.
Once you’ve handled them, be sure to loot their bodies and collect the Poacher’s Squirrel Tail as proof of your victory.
How to Find the White Roebuck
After taking care of the poachers, you’ll need to secure the white hide that the Huntsman requested. Look for it inside a chest within a ruined house.
The chest can either be lockpicked or taken from the poacher named Mach.
Once you access the chest, be sure to grab the White Buck’s Hide.
How to Finish the White Roebuck Quest
With the White Buck’s Hide in your possession, return to the Huntsman and have a conversation with him.
Hand over the hide along with the Poacher’s Squirrel Tail to receive a reward of Groschen for your efforts, thus completing the White Roebuck quest.
