Herb Paris is a versatile ingredient used to craft poisons, remedies, and sleep potions in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2. If you’re working through the Mice questline, this guide will help you find the right locations to gather this herb.
You can buy Herb Paris from vendors for a few groschen or gather it for free from bushes in the forest. Once collected, it’s best to use it promptly or dry it if you don’t plan to use it immediately, as it can spoil over time. Here are the top spots to find Herb Paris in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2.
Where to Purchase Herb Paris in KCD 2
Travel north from Trosky Castle into the woods to reach Herbalist Barnaby’s Garden. Outside his hut, near the fenced area, you’ll find a garden teeming with herbs, including Herb Paris. This location respawns the herbs every 5 to 10 days, so you can revisit periodically to collect more.
Note: Buying Herb Paris from Barnaby costs about 0.3 groschen. Alternatively, if you’re patient, wait until night when the herbalist goes home, and you can quietly raid his garden while he sleeps.
Next, visit Apothecary Emerich located west of Troskowitz’s main town. You can speak with him and pick herbs from his garden, whether he’s sitting outside or inside his shop.
Where to Collect Herb Paris for Free
If you’re in Troskowitz, head southeast to Roman’s house. Search inside his residence to find some Herb Paris.
From there, travel south of Tachov and follow the trail into the forest. Climb the path that leads up the waterfall and look for a fallen tree surrounded by green bushes. Near the roots of the tree, you’ll find Herb Paris growing on the ground.
Additional spots include walking directly south out of town into densely wooded areas, where large trees are common—Herb Paris often grows near these trees on the ground.
Uses of Herb Paris
Herb Paris plays a key role in making certain poisons like Lullaby and Dollmaker, which are used to incapacitate enemies or keep them neutralized. It can also be added to the standard Savior Schnapps recipe to create Henry’s special version, known as Henry’s Savior Schnapps.
