Locating All Purple Power Crystals in Hello Kitty Island Adventure

Now that everyone has settled into their homes on the island in Hello Kitty Island Adventure, they’ve been on various quests to revive the island’s glory and piece together TOPHAT’s lost memories.

Many areas that were once lively attractions or mechanical marvels are now in disrepair. Fortunately, Pekkle has discovered an exciting remnant: an old dance hall located at Gemstone Mountain, featuring an animatronic band and plenty of space for dancing. The catch? The band is currently inactive due to a lack of power, and the only way to restart it is by using Power Crystals.

How to Start Restoring the Swing

To begin this quest, you must have unlocked Gemstone Island by navigating through the Spooky Swamp. From there, you can either follow the northern path around it or swim across by using the Flippers.

Your next step is to locate Pekkle in Gemstone Town. To unlock the quest, you will need to achieve Friendship level five with him by gifting him items he appreciates, including Calming Crystals and Rockadoodlers.

Make sure you’ve also completed Pompompurin’s level four Friendship quest, Dessert-ed Boat, or else Chococat will be unavailable, hindering your progress in Bring Back The Swing.

Once you meet the prerequisites, talk to Pekkle in Gemstone Town to kick off the quest, and he will explain how he wishes to restore the neglected Dance Hall.

How to Find the Purple Power Crystals

After your conversation with Pekkle, you’ll need to step outside and grab your Power Crystal Scanner. You now have to locate three additional Power Crystals within Gemstone Mountain, and this time you’ll be exploring instead of solving Puzzle Rooms.

You can collect the necessary Power Crystals prior to starting this quest by exploring or using the Power Crystal Scanner at any time.

Location of the First Purple Power Crystal

The first of the three Purple Power Crystals can be found on the top of Gemstone Bridge, slightly northwest of the Dance Hall and east of the Oasis Mailbox.

From there, head northwest along the path. You can either take the longer route or scale the cliffs between the two spots if you have at least two or three Stamina bars. Continue climbing until you reach the small peak with the Gemstone Bridge Bolt challenge. Then, ascend onto the arch across from it, and cross. The Power Crystal will be located at the edge of the second arch, just in front of the first bridge.

Location of the Second Purple Power Crystal

The second Purple Power Crystal is located southwest of the Dance Hall, positioned on top of another peak.

From the Dance Hall, follow the path west and continue downwards towards the south until you reach a bridge connecting the main area to a smaller peak. Cross both bridges to find the Power Crystal on the end of the small peak, beyond the second bridge.

Location of the Third Purple Power Crystal

The last Purple Power Crystal is located northwest of the Dance Hall, on a small island situated in the center of Donut Pond.

To get there, either head down from the entrance of the Dance Hall or start at the Gemstone Town Mailbox, and follow the path straight northwest until you arrive at Donut Pond.

You can either jump from the pier and glide or swim across the water, climb to the top of the island, and collect the Power Crystal.

How to Restore the Dance Hall

Taking all the Power Crystals back to the Dance Hall, next, talk to Pekkle to proceed with the quest. Interact with the animatronic band in the center to place the three Power Crystals in position, and you’ll witness another of TOPHAT’s memories.

Following that, it’s time for the grand opening! Pekkle will hand you five Dance Hall invitations to distribute to any five characters, along with the plan for the Decorative Purple Power Crystal.

Give them out to whoever you wish, and gift them just like a regular item. Finally, return to Pekkle and chat with him again once nighttime arrives to start the celebration.
