In Monster Hunter Wilds, the Aqua Sac and Flame Sac are vital crafting materials used to create weapons that harness elemental powers like Fire and Water. However, finding these items can be a bit tricky. Typically, the game only provides information about where to find items after you’ve already discovered them, which encourages exploration and a bit of guesswork. How to Obtain the Aqua Sac in Monster Hunter Wilds

To collect the Aqua Sac, you need to hunt one of the following Low Rank monsters: Balahara or Uth Duna. Keep in mind that these monsters do not always drop the Aqua Sac, so you may have to hunt them multiple times. Additionally, you will definitely receive an Aqua Sac as a reward for completing the optional quests “Sand Sea Surges” and “Veiled by the Tide,” both of which require you to hunt the aforementioned monsters.

How to Obtain the Flame Sac in Monster Hunter Wilds

The Flame Sac is a potential drop from defeating the Low Rank monster Guardian Rathalos. However, it’s not guaranteed, with only a 2-star drop rate. Completing the Optional Quest “His Eternal Reign,” where you take down a Guardian Rathalos, guarantees a Flame Sac as a reward.

Remember, you need to take down these monsters at Low Rank. If you fight them at High Rank, you won’t get the Aqua Sac or Flame Sac, since they will drop the rarer Inferno and Torrent Sacs instead. If you haven’t encountered these monsters yet, keep progressing through the main story, and they’ll appear eventually.
