The “Wedding Crashers” is a key main quest in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 that involves meeting Lord Von Bergow. To access him, you first need to find a way into Semine’s elaborate wedding celebration.
There are two primary ways to gain entry: by following the Blacksmith Radovan storyline or the Miller Kreyzl storyline. For a simpler approach, we suggest choosing the Blacksmith path.
Starting the Wedding Crashers Quest in KC: D2
After completing the Laboratores quest, speak with Bara. She will give you two options to trigger the Wedding Crashers quest. You can proceed through either the Tachov blacksmith or the Lower Semine miller quests to get inside the wedding.
Note: If you opt for the Miller route, completing that quest will automatically grant you access to the wedding. However, choosing the blacksmith path requires you to trigger entry deliberately.
Preparing a Wedding Outfit
Before starting the quest, you need to acquire suitable wedding attire and shoes. You can buy these from Tailor Bartoshek or stealthily steal them.
Alternative methods: Loot outfits from fallen NPCs or mug wealthy passersby.
Visit the tailor’s shop during daylight hours to purchase clothing. For theft, break into the shop at night while the tailor sleeps, or during the day, crouch and toss a pebble through the window to distract him.
Once inside, make your theft quickly, ensuring the clothes aren’t armored and have a charisma value of at least 15. If buying, ask the tailor if the outfit is wedding-appropriate—you can enhance charisma by adding accessories like a fancy hood, mantle, or gloves. Cleaning or repairing non-armored clothing beforehand helps you look the part.
Attending the Wedding via Blacksmith Radovan
Radovan, the first blacksmith you meet in the game, is located in Troskowitz, in the village of Tachov. Help him forge a hunting sword to start the side quest “The Blacksmith’s Son.” You’ll need to gather materials from a chest in his forge, then heat, hammer, and temper the metal following a specific sequence. A successful forge will make Radovan your ally and set off the “The Jaunt” quest.
Next steps: Radovan will send you to Semine to find his lost cargo, leading to “The Jaunt” quest. You’ll need to defeat Jurko in a fistfight, then locate the cargo by following Captain Gnarly and Lord Semine’s lead, which involves exploring crossroads and campgrounds.
Once you find the cart, chase down bandits and eliminate them. Afterward, return to Radovan, and he’ll send you on “The Hermit” side quest, involving sneaking or stealthily robbing him for his diary and retrieving a sword buried under a tree.
With the sword in hand, bring it back to Radovan. Remember, Radovan emphasizes the importance of a fancy outfit for the wedding, so ensure you’ve dressed appropriately before proceeding with side missions.
Attending via Miller Kreyzl
Complete the “Wine, Women, and Blood” side quest at the inn near the blacksmith to learn about Kreyzl in Lower Semine, near a creek. Find Kreyzl at his house or on a small bridge nearby to offer help. This triggers the “Materia Prima” quest.
Main goal: Retrieve a crucial document from a chest in Troskowitz’s Rathaus, which requires stealing Kreyzl’s clothes from a nearby bathhouse. You can either pay 199 groschen for them or steal by sneaking in at night or sneaking in the day by tossing a pebble.
Once dressed, infiltrate the inn, steal the document, and return it to Kreyzl. He’ll then offer you “Forbidden Fruit,” a side quest involving finding a saltpetre pit and helping a gravedigger.
Forbidden Fruit Side Quest
Start by talking to Bonnie, who can tell you about the gravedigger near Troskowitz. You’ll need to gather herbs like Eyebright and Sage along the way.
Find the gravedigger’s hut, offer him meat, and assist him in collecting carcasses. You can choose to kill or spare his dog, which affects the outcome. After completing this, you’ll receive saltpetre, and Kreyzl will send you to continue with “Opus Magnum.”
Opus Magnum
This quest involves gathering a book, perfume, and a companion for the wedding. Begin by visiting the Troskowitz bathhouse to clean up. Be cautious of a guard; surrender when challenged to avoid fines.
Acquire Mintha perfume either by purchase from innkeeper Betty or by stealing it at night when she’s asleep. Then, head to Tailor Bartoshek’s shop to steal a dress for your companion, either by sneaking in or pickpocketing the keys from the sleeping tailor.
Find Enneleyn near Horsecarts, propose help, and give her the dress and perfume. She’ll agree to attend the wedding, provided you have your wedding outfit ready.
Heading to Semine’s Wedding
Arrive at the wedding location and engage in activities for fun, as Lord Von Bergow is late. During the celebration, mingle, dance, challenge characters to duels, or feed beggars, all of which can influence your reputation.
Once the ceremony concludes, you can only leave after congratulating the newlyweds. Enter the bride’s chamber—she might be crying, and any interaction here will lead to a brawl, completing the Wedding Crashers quest.
