On Kepler, there are six new weapons to find, most of which are good choices for both PvE and PvP. As you level up your Power Level and explore Kepler’s world tiers, you’ll encounter stronger versions of these weapons thanks to the new gear tier system. If you’re looking to expand your armory or want different options, chasing these weapons is worth your time. Here are the best rolls to look for.
Agape
Agape is the first Solar hand cannon that fires two bursts. It pairs well with Solar subclasses like Ember of Empyrean or Ember of Benevolence. This setup is great for hunters who want to boost damage or quickly clear adds. While some two-burst hand cannons are better for boss DPS, Agape shines for adding damage and crowd control. It’s especially useful in PvP if you don’t mind its unusual firing pattern. Recommended perks include Outlaw and Master of Arms to maximize damage, and stability improvements are crucial to to reduce flinch. For PvP, consider perks that support Solar abilities, like Heal Clip for healing when reloading near allies and Enhanced Precision Instrument to lower TTK to about 0.57 seconds if you have a 200 weapon stat or Radiant.
Giver’s Blessing
A fast-firing auto rifle that is simple but effective in PvE for low to mid-tier content. With perks like Kinetic Tremors, it can stun larger foes, and Shoot to Loot makes it handy for farming. In PvP, this rifle is less dominant compared to other options but can still work well with perks like Moving Target for aim assist and Zen Moment to improve stability. Its effective range is about 28 meters, so stay within that zone for best results. Recommended perks are Extended Barrel, Flared Magwell, Outlaw, and Master of Arms for PvE, or Full Bore, Ricochet Rounds, and either Heal Clip or Encore for PvP.
Last Thursday
Once a powerhouse, Last Thursday has been nerfed in PvP but can still be deadly with the right perks, especially if you run damage-enhancing options like Elemental Honing. Pair it with Moving Target to improve hit detection. It’s an average weapon in PvE, best used with perks like Demolitionist and Frenzy. To get two-burst kills in PvP, perks like Range and Elemental Honing are helpful, but note that many current weapons can drop enemies faster, making this less desirable unless you prefer a burst shot style.
Precipial
Precipial is a solid choice if you need a good energy shotgun or a reliable Arc shotgun. The recommended PvE perks are Threat Detector and Opening Shot, or Lone Wolf combined with Discord or Slideshot for versatility. It boasts a perk pool that’s tough to beat, making it a top pick for PvP. For PvP, strong rolls include Full Bore, Ricochet Rounds, and perks like Threat Detector or Lone Wolf, with Opening Shot or Discord as options for the last perk slot.
Sublimation
Sublimation is a low-meta Scout rifle, suitable if you’re looking for a precision energy sniper or to fill the energy slot. In PvE, perks like Rapid Hit and Voltshot provide decent add-clear, but given other weapons with faster TTKs, it’s not a top-tier pick. In PvP, it’s mainly for niche or specific builds; perks like Moving Target and Explosive Payload make it a decent duo. Its perk pool isn’t very compelling for serious PvP or endgame PvE, and it’s best to skip unless you need a reliable Arc scout for a specific loadout.
Ulterior Observation
Ulterior Observation is a 600 RPM Stasis machine gun similar to Pro Memoria. Use it with perks like Subsistence and Killing Tally for add clearing, or Headstone and Dragonfly for fun, low-tier content. Its stability improves greatly when equipped with Moving Target and Dynamic Sway Reduction. Although not as strong as some LMGs, it’s a reliable choice for consistent headshot farming in PvP. The recommended perks include Arrowhead Brake, Ricochet Rounds, Subsistence, and Killing Tally for PvE, or Arrowhead Brake, Ricochet Rounds, Moving Target, and Dynamic Sway Reduction for PvP.
Note: For each weapon, the best rolls depend on your playstyle and the activities you focus on. In the end, most of these weapons perform well with specific perks tailored to PvE or PvP use, so choose rolls that complement your preferred combat style.
