If you’re trying to play Dying Light: The Beast on Xbox Game Pass, I have some bad news. The game isn’t part of this month’s lineup on the Microsoft subscription service as of September 19. That said, it doesn’t mean there’s no chance it might appear later. Here’s what you should know about the chances of Techland’s newest game joining Game Pass someday.
Is Dying Light: The Beast available on Xbox Game Pass now?
No, it’s not. Although the game launched on Xbox Series X and S, PlayStation 5, and PC, it isn’t currently on Game Pass. There don’t seem to be plans to add it anytime soon, either. Neither Dying Light 2 nor the first game were available on the service right after their release.
There is still hope, though. Earlier this year, the original Dying Light was playable for free on Xbox during a limited period called Free Play Days. This event let players try out a selection of games without buying them. Since that game came out over ten years ago, we hope the latest Dying Light title might also become free to try in the future. In the meantime, you can read our review of Dying Light: The Beast to see if it’s worth buying.

Remember, this information is current as of now, and things could change later.
