In Where Winds Meet, besides your regular adventures, you can enjoy additional benefits based on the objectives you complete each season. The battle pass offers even more rewards, regardless of which tier you’re on.
Let’s go over each battle pass level and what rewards they might include, and whether buying into it is worth it. While the battle pass is optional, it provides extra perks for dedicated players. Casual players can still benefit from free rewards just by exploring the jianghu and logging in daily after the server resets.
The battle pass is available at no cost to all players, but you can purchase a premium version to unlock extra benefits. You can experience the battle pass in three ways:
- The Free Battle Pass becomes available after completing the first chapter of the main story and continues to be available. It unlocks only the top row of rewards.
- The Elite Battle Pass costs $9.99 and includes everything in the free version, plus access to the portable merchant, increased inventory and medicine capacity, and the second row of rewards.
- The Collection Battle Pass, priced at $19.99, offers all benefits of the Elite, plus a ten-level boost to your battle pass progress, more inventory and medicine space, and access to all rewards in the pass.
It’s wise to wait before buying the battle pass until you’re sure you can claim the rewards you want—since you can retroactively get items you unlock at previous levels when you upgrade to a higher tier.
To progress in the battle pass, you’ll need to complete different objectives that earn you points toward leveling up. These objectives are split into three categories:
- Daily quests involve tasks like logging in and spending energy to clear outposts.
- Weekly quests are more challenging, such as spending large amounts of energy or defeating weekly bosses.
- Seasonal quests are long-term goals that can only be completed once per season, which lasts about six weeks. These could include exploring new regions, finishing main story quests, or expanding your compendium.
Some objectives may require completing tasks in specific modes, like solo or multiplayer, so always check what’s needed to earn your rewards. Don’t forget to gather everything possible before logging off, as rewards are reset when the server resets.
As you gain rewards, you’ll earn special points that can be exchanged in the Battle Pass Shop for unique items like decorations and gear dyes. These tokens are only available from levels beyond 51, making them bonuses you can redeem for new profile poses and decorations.
