Rematch is the exciting new arcade football game that’s sure to draw you in. It’s quick, enjoyable, and perfect for casual play. However, since it’s a team game, playing with strangers can be quite the challenge—thankfully, that’s why you have friends!
This guide will help you navigate Multiplayer in Rematch, walking you through how to set up a group and addressing your questions about crossplay features.
How to Team Up with Friends
Rematch enables you to play with friends in all multiplayer modes. To access your friends list, look for the social tab at the top right corner of the main menu. The steps to get there depend on the gaming platform you’re using:
- On PlayStation, press the touchpad.
- On PC, hit the tab key.
- On Xbox, press the “change view” button (the one with the overlapping squares).
Once you’re in the social menu, click on the Friends List button to see your contacts. You’ll know who’s online and if they’re playing Rematch. If your friend is online, select their name and choose the “Invite to Squad” option. They’ll get an invitation, and upon acceptance, their avatar will show up next to yours at the top right of the screen.
After you form a group, the host can select any online mode, and the game will match you together. You can team up with up to five friends, enhancing your chances of climbing the ranks in Rematch.
How to Add People You Met in Rematch
If no friends want to join you for some virtual soccer, you can still connect with players you meet online. To add someone as a friend, open the social menu and go to the “Recent” tab after selecting the “Friends List” option. Here, you can invite players you’ve recently encountered to your team or even add them to your friends list.
Is Crossplay Available in Rematch?
Currently, Rematch does not support crossplay. However, the developers are working on it. They were actually developing this feature before the game’s release, but it’s not ready yet. According to their official roadmap, they are making progress and have a working version behind the scenes. So, expect crossplay to be integrated in the near future.
We will post updates on this page once crossplay is available. If you see that Rematch still doesn’t have this feature, you can trust that it hasn’t been added yet.
