To celebrate spring races, Umamusume: Pretty Derby has organized special events. The Spring G1 Celebrations are now in their second phase, focusing on the NHK Mile Cup and other mile races within this series.
For these races, you’ll need your best mile racers to win easily. These races happen after your trainees finish their junior year and become more experienced racers. Although high stats are not mandatory, having decent speed will help you succeed in these challenges. Unlike the late-career races, focusing on speed early on can give you a strong advantage.
All NHK Mile Cup Missions and Rewards
There are eight tasks to complete for the NHK Mile Cup in the Spring G1 Celebration Missions, Part 2. Some tasks require you to go through the career mode a few times, and others involve placing well in three races. The rewards are valuable, so it’s worth aiming for all of them.

How to Win All Spring G1 Celebration Missions Part 2 Races
Most of these races are early in your career, right after your debut race, when your trainees are training for essential stats. When selecting racers, make sure to consider their schedules, especially since some races, like the Arlington Cup and New Zealand Trophy, overlap with major events like the Oka Sho and Satsuki Sho.
These races are mainly on Mile and Turf tracks. Key racers like Silence Suzuka, El Condor Pasa, and Grass Wonder are very helpful, as they can often help you complete multiple races with just a few career attempts. Vodka, Daiwa Scarlet, and Maruzensky are also great Mile racers but are not available during the Classic Year, Early April period, so use them for the NHK Mile Cup when the time is right.
Since these races happen early in your career, you don’t need to boost your stats too much. Instead, focus on increasing your racer’s speed. For high-speed racers like Silence Suzuka, only training speed might be enough. For Pace Chasers like Daiwa Scarlet and Vodka, balanced stamina and speed stats are important.
Aim for around 350 to 450 speed and 200 to 300 stamina to improve your chances of winning these races.
