Using Mega Drampa in Pokémon Legends: Z-A can be a smart move during battles because its new form has improved stats that give it an advantage. However, Mega Drampa, which was added in the ninth generation, isn’t rated as highly as some other Mega Evolutions, such as Mega Dragonite.

Still, the design of Mega Drampa really stands out. It gets black cloud-like decorations on its body, making it look like it’s flying through a thundercloud rather than just a regular one. Its face also becomes more fierce, showcasing its true Dragon-type strength. Using Mega Drampa can look pretty cool, but there are a couple of steps you need to do first.

Where to Catch Drampa in Pokémon Legends: Z-A (Location)

You can find Drampa after you’ve progressed through a large part of the game. The best place to find it is in Wild Zone 19. This zone unlocks after you complete Main Mission 30, which involves defeating Jacinthe in her tournament after a challenging series of battles with other Trainers.

During the day, you can encounter both Normal- and Dragon-type Pokémon in a gazebo located in the center of Wild Zone 19. However, their appearance isn’t guaranteed. If you don’t find Drampa right away — maybe because the gazebo is occupied by an Alpha Furfrou or another Pokémon — try reloading the spawns by entering a building or waiting until the next day.

Alternatively, after finishing the main story, you might find Alpha Drampa in Wild Zone 20, but the chances of it appearing are much lower than in Zone 19. If you’re not determined to catch a massive Drampa, hunting in Zone 19 is your best bet.

How to Get Drampanite in Pokémon Legends: Z-A

You can buy the Mega Stone for Drampa, called Drampanite. Similar to the Mega Stone used for Mega Lucario, you can purchase it from Quasartico Inc. This item becomes available fairly early in the game, costing 360 Mega Shards.

Once you have Drampanite, give it to your Drampa. As you gather enough Mega Energy, you’ll be able to perform Mega Evolution. Mega Drampa has one of the coolest new designs in the game, so even if you’re not using it for battles, you can enjoy how it looks.
