Some instructions in Quarantine Zone: The Last Check can be confusing because it’s difficult to gather clear info about citizens during a zombie outbreak. Sometimes, you might only get a partial name, just a street name, or a vague description of a person.
Additionally, you need to remember that each day, new instructions are posted on the noticeboard at the compound’s checkpoint. These are posted randomly, so you might not see the same quests on the same days as other players.
Every completed directive grants you $1,200, making it a good way to earn some easy money for your group, especially since many of these tasks are straightforward.
One particular quest has caused confusion because a clue in the instructions is intentionally misleading. The quest description states:
From: Major
SKELETONS IN THE CLOSET
Someone kept their entire infected family in the basement on Ash Ridge Street. The infected broke out and the person burned the house down. Surviving records are limited.
Name starts with “An…”
Age around 30.
If you see someone fitting the profile, send them to quarantine.
Duration: 1 day
Goal: Target sent to quarantine.
Rewards: $1,200
The key thing to note is the age. Look for a survivor around 30 years old. Don’t get distracted by the misleading hint about the name starting with “An”; it’s often false. Usually, the person you’re looking for is named Kevin, though the last name can change — Kevin Wright, Kevin Buyes, Kevin Williams, for example.
The most reliable way to identify the suspect is by the address. Check the person’s profile picture on the symptom tablet for their street name, which should be Ash Ridge Street.
Once you identify the right person, scan him to earn your reputation points, then send him to quarantine. After completing the quest, you can choose what to do with Kevin — it’s best to leave him in quarantine until the next day.
