The mini-games in Roadside Research testing your ability to blend in with humans range from absurd to completely bizarre. If you fail these tests, the agents will eliminate your entire team. But if you succeed, you can keep going and avoid getting shot. These quick mini-games become especially tough under pressure, with your life on the line. If any of these strange checks are making you frustrated, here’s what you need to know—how to fart, breathe, or blink just like a real person.

All Interrogation Mini-Games in Roadside Research

There are three interrogation mini-games in the game. While they look simple, the fast pace and danger of failure mean it’s easy to slip up. Missing three of these checks will make the agent suspicious and lead to an immediate shooting. After losing a mini-game, you’ll lose Alien Points, but winning will earn you points. If you’re getting caught in too many interrogations and losing too many points, try reducing suspicion at your gas station.

Warning: There’s no way to escape being shot once you fail a check. You’ll lose Alien Points in the process, so it’s best to pass each test.

Breathe Like a Human

In this mini-game, you’ll need to hit 15 skill checks as a cursor moves around a large circle. These checks are randomly scattered, and more will pop up as you progress. Breathing won’t sound natural; it will be completely unpredictable, with fast inhales and long pauses.

Losing a mini-game triggers a hunt scene. The loser will be shot by the agent, while others must fight off the attacker using laser guns and memory wipes.

Blink Like a Human

This is the most challenging mini-game. The screen shows two large eye shapes, with circles that grow and shrink inside them. You must blink three times to pass the test. To succeed, click only when the moving circle matches the static one. Since there are separate buttons for each eye, it’s best to focus on one eye at a time. You won’t fail unless you miss your chance, and if you don’t click at all, you won’t miss the check.

Fart Like a Human

This mini-game involves releasing clouds of fart that approach a robot’s buttocks. When a cloud touches the target area, press the button to simulate a fart. It’s surprisingly simple compared to the others. Just press the check button as each fart cloud reaches the buttocks. Complete 15 fartings to pass the test and avoid getting shot by the agent.
