In Hello Kitty Island Adventure, your journey begins at the Seaside Resort, where you’ll meet many adorable characters. One of your first tasks is to help My Melody by delivering gift packages to various characters. This is a great way to get acquainted and start building friendships. Some friends are located beyond Seaside Resort, but as you progress, you’ll unlock these new areas and be able to make new friends.
It’s important to note that not every location is part of Friendship Island. As you advance through the game, you’ll unlock Cloud Island, where you can meet Kiki and Lala. They will congratulate you for collecting power crystals. This guide will help you befriend Lala and provide essential information about her.
Finding Lala
Kiki and Lala play special roles in Hello Kitty Island Adventure, often appearing to celebrate your achievements after completing power crystal quests. While you can’t interact with them right away, their presence becomes a delightful part of your adventure!
Cloud Island is the place to find them, but getting there requires you to complete a series of quests. Prepare for an extensive journey that includes traversing various biomes, solving puzzles, and assisting other characters along the way. Below is a step-by-step guide on what you need to do to access Cloud Island.
Tips for Navigating Quests
The Stargazing quest can only be initiated at night. If it’s daytime in the game, just sleep in a visitor cabin until night falls.
When night comes, head to Moon Island to meet Hello Kitty. After your discussion, you’ll notice Sky Fragments starting to fall around Friendship Island. Collecting them is simple; they will be marked on your map. Here’s a breakdown of where to find them:
Sky Fragment | Location Description |
---|---|
First Sky Fragment | Falls nearby; you can’t possibly miss it. |
Second Sky Fragment | Found in Spooky Swamp, where you can talk to Kuromi and My Melody to collect it. |
Third Sky Fragment | Located at Rainbow Reef, inside Hangyodon’s comedy club after finishing the dialogue with him and Retsuko. |
Fourth Sky Fragment | You’ll find this in Gemstone Mountain by speaking with Chococat and Badtz-Maru. |
Fifth Sky Fragment | At Mount Hothead, chat with Keroppi to claim this last fragment. |
Once you’ve collected all five Sky Fragments, return to Moon Island to meet Hello Kitty again. After another chat, a mysterious portal will appear at the center of the island, leading you to Cloud Island Plaza, where Kiki and Lala are waiting for you.
By talking to them, you’ll finish the Stargazing quest and unlock interactions with Kiki and Lala. You can now start giving them gifts to build your friendship and enjoy new experiences as you advance.
Gifts for Lala
Giving gifts to Lala can be slightly trickier than giving gifts to Kiki, largely due to the limited areas available in Cloud Island at the beginning. The simplest gift you can give her is something from the Candy Cloud Machine, which you can unlock after reaching level two in your friendship with Lala and completing the ‘Sweets in the Stars’ quest.
While you’re working towards that, Moon Cheese is a good substitute—you can find it near star-shaped rocks on Cloud Island.
For a two-heart gift, Art Supplies is a solid choice since it mainly requires Paper. Alternatively, you can give her Cheese Cloud; however, this requires both Moon Cheese and Candy Cloud. You can obtain Candy Cloud by gifting it to Cinnamoroll. After that, gather the materials needed to create the Candy Cloud at the machine.
If you want to impress Lala with a three-heart gift, you should craft Quattro Formaggi Pizza. You can do this at the Pizza Oven with one Dough, Coral Milk, and Moon Cheese. Dough can be obtained by giving a gift to Retsuko, while Coral Milk can be found at Rainbow Reef.
Every time you offer Lala a gift, she rewards you with Stardust in return.
Friendship Rewards
One of the notable rewards Lala gives you includes a special Friendship Quest, which is available early in the game. Additionally, she will provide various crafting plans for stellar decorations and other surprises.
Here’s a summary of the rewards you can earn as you level up your friendship with Lala:
Level | Reward |
---|---|
1 | Friendship (New Friends) |
2 | ‘Sweets In The Stars’ quest |
3 | Cooking recipe for Pink Clouds Ice Cream |
4 | Crafting plans for The Greatest Challenge |
5 | Friendship (Good Friends) |
… | … |
20 | Friendship (Best Friends) |
Quests from Lala
Lala introduces you to friendship quests once your bond with her reaches level two. Your task will typically involve finding Starfruits, unlocking new tools like the Cloud Ride that allows you to explore more areas on Cloud Island, and access the Candy Cloud Machine for crafting.
Kiki and Lala also collaborate on various quests. Completing the ‘Catching a Cloudragon’ quest unlocks the Cloud Island Critter Corral, while the ‘Call to Adventure’ quest opens up a more extensive storyline for you.
Once you reach level 20 friendship with both Kiki and Lala, they become your companions, joining you in every adventure side by side.
Daily Quests
Lala’s daily quests are quite straightforward, granting you friendship points each time you complete them. Be sure to tackle these when you can!
Quest | Description |
---|---|
But Make It Sweet | Bake a Cheesecake. |
Cloudwalk | Snap a selfie on Cloud Island. |
Too Much Cheese | Collect three Moon Cheese. |
Focus on completing these tasks, and you’ll continue to build your friendships and enjoy the colorful world of Hello Kitty Island Adventure!
