Since Destiny: Rising is a gacha game, it can feel overwhelming with all the information on how it operates. You might overlook key mechanics like the Reputation system. Monitoring your Reputation points is important because earning more can help you obtain better gear, like weapons.
The Reputation system isn’t immediately accessible when you start playing. You need to progress in the game until you unlock the Imminent Storm quest, which begins in Chapter 1–2. Once unlocked, you can check how much Reputation you’ve accumulated, your current Reputation Rank, and the rewards you’ve earned by interacting with the vendor.
When you reach the second half of Chapter 1, you’ll be directed to a new region called Jiangshi Metro, which you can travel to from your World Map. Upon arrival, look for Mu Ying in the starting zone of Jiangshi Metro. As you advance through the story, new regional leaders will be unlocked, requiring you to increase your Reputation with them.
You can see your total Reputation, your current rank, and the rewards you’ve collected by engaging with his shop.
To level up your Reputation quickly, you have multiple options. Not all methods provide the same amount of Reputation, so choose wisely.
One effective way is completing Daily Commissions. Each Commission grants about +70 Reputation, making them very valuable for grinding. However, there’s a daily limit on how many you can complete before the vendor resets.
To maximize your Reputation gain, consider doing side activities like Front Lines alongside at least one Commission. Moving quickly between Front Line activities helps you accumulate Reputation without waiting for a new day. Front Line missions are relatively simple and involve defeating enemies at specific map points. They are random and can occur unexpectedly, making them good opportunities for farming Reputation. While each Front Line gives around +35 Reputation, doing them consecutively can boost your efficiency.
Public Events are similar to Front Lines but occur more frequently and vary each time, such as defeating a set number of enemies or defending a point. These events yield about +25 Reputation each and are more common, providing consistent opportunities to earn Reputation.
As you rank up your Reputation through 20 levels, you’ll receive specific rewards at each level, which you can claim by returning to the vendor. Rewards include items like Lumia Leaves, Legendary Engrams, Enhancement Prisms, Glimmer, Mythic Weapon Parameters, and special charms. For example, reaching Rank 2 grants 50 Lumia Leaves, 1 J90 Hornbill, and 1,000 Glimmer. Higher ranks offer more valuable rewards, such as additional Mythic Weapon Parameters and Glimmer.
Beyond Rank 20, you will start earning Honor Engrams, which provide Destination Reputation Bundles. These bundles can include Incandescence Ribbons, Enchantment Prisms, and large amounts of Glimmer.
