Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road features an enormous roster of characters, with over 5,400 recruitable players. This makes it the game with the largest number of playable characters not just within the Inazuma Eleven series, but possibly in any game to date. While you don’t need to use all of these players, experimenting with different team setups and combinations can be fun and strategic. To do this effectively, you’ll want to focus on leveling up your players. If you’re wondering how to level up quickly in Victory Road, here’s what you should know.
Online Battles
Playing online battles is the quickest way to earn experience points for your players. These matches provide the most experience per game, even if you lose. At the beginning, you might face opponents who are stronger than you, but you’ll quickly improve by losing a few matches and gaining experience. This method allows you to start with a brand-new team, jump into online battles right away, and boost your team’s level to a competitive stage in just a couple of hours.
Chronicle Mode
If you prefer not to fight other players online, you can grind experience offline in Chronicle Mode. The best way to level up here is to challenge the highest-level enemy team available. Keep in mind, you need to beat each team twice to move on to the next one, which can take some time. However, battling high-level teams yields a lot of experience points, making it a solid option for fast leveling.
How to Level Up Fast in Story Mode
Story Mode in Victory Road is separate from the rest of the game, so players from online battles won’t automatically level up your Story Mode characters. The fastest way to get experience in Story Mode involves a few steps. First, eat at the ramen shop to get a 20% experience boost. Next, engage in Special Training sessions, which grant additional experience. To maximize gains, try to align the boost element with the element used during Special Training. Repeating training mini-games can become monotonous, so alternative activities like Friendly Matches and Football Battles can also help level up your team. Remember to eat ramen and match the element for the best results.
Once you’ve completed the Story Mode, your characters and inventories from all game modes will be combined, allowing you to level up your Story Mode characters through online battles as well.
