Titan Quest 2 is similar to many classic role-playing games, especially the original Titan Quest. Its gameplay mechanics feel familiar—combat, leveling, and skills work much like those in other popular titles. These tried-and-true elements have remained popular for a good reason.

One notable feature in Titan Quest 2 is the use of Divinity Points. These points are crucial as you level up, and choosing how to spend them can significantly affect your character’s abilities and the overall build.

What Are Divinity Points?
Divinity Points are resources you can assign to one or both of your Mastery trees. Each tree has multiple tiers, and you must spend a certain amount of Divinity Points in a specific Mastery to unlock that tier. Unlocking each tier grants access to new abilities, both active and passive. You won’t be able to access certain skills or passive bonuses until you reach the required Divinity Point threshold for that tier, no matter your overall level.

How To Earn Divinity Points
Divinity Points are earned in several ways:

  • Leveling up your character
  • Completing the main story quests
  • Achieving Divine Challenges

Most players will get their first Divinity Point fairly early in the game’s story. After that, each new level, as well as completing specific challenges, will grant additional points.

Respeccing Your Divinity Points
If you want to change your character’s build, you can respec in the Mastery menu. Doing so allows you to reallocate Divinity Points among your Mastery trees. Respeccing costs Gold but is generally affordable. When you enter Respec Mode, you also have the chance to reset the number of Divinity Points assigned to each tree, giving you full control over your character’s development.

In the game, there is a dedicated menu for respeccing your abilities and Divinity Point allocations, making it easy to experiment with different builds and strategies as you progress.
