To maximize the Support class in Battlefield 6, you need to focus not just on reviving teammates but also on restocking supplies and healing them. If you want to unlock everything the class offers, staying engaged in healing and resupply is essential.
One of the initial goals for Support is to heal teammates for a total of 5,000 health. Completing this task unlocks the M320A1 SMK, which is a Smoke Grenade Launcher. It also helps you progress along the Fire Support training path. So, there’s good reason to keep your squad alive—beyond the obvious duty to revive fallen allies. Please remember to revive teammates whenever you can.
How to Heal Teammates
Thankfully, healing in Battlefield 6 is straightforward. The Support class automatically carries a Supply Bag, which continuously provides healing and resupplies to yourself and nearby teammates.
Note: Don’t mistake this Supply Bag for the Supply Pouch, which is a different gadget unlocked on the Specialist track.
To heal a teammate, simply throw the Supply Bag at them when they are low on health. On PC, press “X,” and on controllers, press “Up” on the D-pad. Doing this quickly regenerates their health at a faster rate, even if they’re under enemy fire. Keep in mind, if another Support player throws their Supply Bag, your bag will have no effect on that teammate, so coordinate if possible.
You can also pick up and carry the Supply Bag to move it closer to teammates who need help. If enemies destroy the bag, you can wait a short cooldown for another to become available.
Unlocking the M320A1 SMK
Class assignments become available when you reach level ten in your career. These assignments open paths to unlock new gadgets, badges, cosmetics, and more, provided you play the corresponding roles.
The first support challenge is to heal teammates for 5,000 health and earn a total of 10,000 points while playing as Support. Healing yourself or damage you inflict on yourself doesn’t count towards this, such as if a teammate throws a grenade at their feet and then uses your Supply Bag. However, fall damage does count, so if a teammate jumps off a ledge and you heal them with your bag, it counts toward the total. You can speed up progress by throwing the Supply Bag into groups of injured teammates, which is both more effective and faster.
In summary, focus on healing and resupplying teammates—especially by throwing the Supply Bag into the midst of injured allies—to efficiently unlock the Smoke Grenade Launcher and other support-related rewards.
